Horn & Bone

Conservation and restoration of bone, horn and antler objects has been an exercise performed since the medieval ages. Throughout the history we find various tools like knives, mugs, drinking horns and utensils etc. made out of bones and horns. With traditional methods of manufacturing, this age old skill of producing useful products from the waste material of the domestic cattle has been revived. Since the cattle’s horns and bone come with natural glaze and have etched patterns, these are shaped into exquisite and stunning products by trained craftsmen. Hence, no two pieces are the same. For a cleaner environment, horns and bones are collected from areas slaughter houses. No waste material of the wild animals is used in the production of these products. Other than being unique and beautiful, these are durable and environment friendly. These functional products go quite well with the collection of those Viking swords or Medieval swords!
