Before the door of all lodges stands a Tiler (Tyler) with a drawn sword in his hand. The Tilers sword is but the emblem of his authority, as the Gavel is the symbol of that possessed by the Master. The Tyler is responsible for guarding the door of the Lodge room, for ensuring that a Brethren requiring admittance are properly dressed and vouched for, and will inform them of the degree the Lodge is open under so that they may give the proper salute at the altar. These swords are constructed of 41.75 Inch high density polyurethane foam. They are perfect for cosplay and/or costume prop and can make an excellent fun weapon for Kids. You can also use this for LARP. These swords are superb construction from end to end mimicking real Mason swords. The blade is made from high density foam with a 10 mm inner core made up of fibers making is stronger and more durable. One handle is red and the other is black with a decorative golden pommels. Included with these swords is a sheath with back strap. This sheath is perfect for almost any sword. It fits foam and light broadswords two at a time so you're always prepared to pull any sword lightning fast! This sheath with back straps is constructed out of polyurethane. Two adjustable nylon straps allow you to adjust the height that you would like the swords to hang while adjusting for a good fit. Below the holsters is a connecting steel ring that holds an adjustable nylon belt loop to fit the adjustable polyurethane belt through to secure this sheath around the waist. Not only is it stylish but functional. This universal piece can accent medieval dress, modern style, and many diverse costumes.
