A corkscrew is a kitchen tool for drawing corks from wine bottles. The design may have derived from the gun worm which was a device used by musket men to remove unspent charges from a musket's barrel in a similar fashion, from at least the early 1630s. This corkscrew was hand forged with a blackened antiqued rustic finish. For a unique design the handle has been tied in a knot. This piece would be great for a traditional medieval themed wedding where the Bride and Groom Tie the Knot to opened their beverage of choice.
