Has the original purpose of the sword is changed?

Nowadays, no one trains themselves with battle ready swords to attain their genuine goal of engaging in violence against armed adversaries. The reality and original purpose of swords have long faded. Still, we are highly fascinated by these objects.

The art was valued as the highest form of fighting skills on the battlefield in solitary fight or secretive duel of integrity. You won’t find any other personal sidearm with so much diversity and variety in design and conception. Also, not as decorated and valued as this queen of weapons. The techniques and methods are available in several forms from one-handed, double-handed, single or two-edged to thrust and slice. The artistry entices the highest artisans and blade-smiths to come up with their creative talent with the metalwork. The beauty of line and excellence of arc speaks to its mystery and inheritance. For those who are compelled to investigate the mysteries of stories, the wield of mastery is a never-ending path. It induces power and prestige with the commitment of safety protection. At the same time, it projects risk and threat to a violent death. The phrases of the sword still boom in our culture such as the clang of conflicting steel itself.
