The Damascus clip point blade is composed from 1095/15N20 Alloy Steel that has been tempered around 54 to 55 with approximately 176 true blade layers. This unique pocket knife features a double wall construction with the inner framing made of sturdy steel. Mounted to the steel framing is imitation stag mounts that definitely pass as the real deal. The spacers, pins, bolsters, and free-falling lever lock are all made from 100% genuine brass with a stunning gold shine. Pushing the lever down with your thumb will effortlessly deploy the blade. A gorgeous semicircle design present on the spine of the handle gives the knife a refined appearance. Included with this knife is a hand tooled belt sheath made from genuine bovine leather and stained a deep brown color.
This knife comes well oiled - and it is recommended to polish the knife with a mineral oil from time to time to prevent rusting or corrosion. Brass polish can be used occasionally on the spacers, pins, bolsters, and free-falling lever lock to prevent corrosion and keep a lustrous shine.
