As the popular saying goes; it’s better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Self-defense is a primary concern among individuals of all ages and genders, regardless of their geographical presence. The society around us descends into chaos at the simplest hint of discord. Thus, it is better that one possesses the tools to protect themselves and their loved ones in every situation. A weapon may be overkill for many people but basic self-defense tools are a necessity especially for the female population.

Personal safety weapons

There is a range of personal security weapons one can choose from, like pepper sprays, flashlights, stun-guns, and Tasers. These weapons, however, are easily identifiable by the attackers and can be neutralized. Most of them are illegal in different regions and can be lethal in the worst of circumstances. You cannot bring them to the airport and you cannot transport them overseas. But in everyday protection, the use of these weapons is unparalleled. The most inconspicuous personal defense weapon is, inarguably the tactical pen. It is small in size and you can hide it easily in coat collars and pockets.

Tactical Pens

The tactical pens either hide a small knife or recorders. You can access the hidden compartment by pulling on the bottom of the pen. They are similar have the same size as simple ball-point pens and present similar performance while writing. Tactical pens with blades have another use as a letter opener. While easily dismissed, these pens are deadly in the trained right hands and can fend off different types of attacks. This pen can prod, twist, and stab the attacker with enough impact that the attacker will back off completely. In emergency evacuations, the blade in tactical pens can be used to break panes of glass in windows or doors. They can also be used to collect and examine DNA and skin cell samples from an attacker. Having a personal protection weapon is vital. Knowing exactly how to use it can change the outcome of any confrontation altogether. Tactical pens are usually the size of a palm and therefore quite difficult to snatch. These discrete weapons can be used effectively on pressure points and with some practice, can be thrown as projectiles. In the right hands, tactical pens are truly mightier than the sword. Now that you know what is the best personal protection weapon for you, have you decided which color you want? Is there any other use of tactical pens you can think of? Let us know in the comments!
