This samurai tachi katana has been meticulously forged by hand from expert artisans using 1060 high carbon steel and heat treated to perfection. The blade has a beautifully polished finish with a wave hamon and razor-sharp edge. Not only is this sword hand forged, it is also full tang and ready for battle. The wooden handle is covered in real white stingray skin and wrapped with a black polyester ito in a traditional Japanese style. Zinc alloy and brass are used to create the gorgeous gold rectangular Tsuba and other fittings that adorn this beautiful piece. An ornate floral design and can be observed on each piece of hardware. Included with this collector’s piece is a matching scabbard that features a metallic red finish wrapped in polyester cord. This cord is used to create a handle and attached to the scabbard with zinc alloy fittings. A black dust cover is also included to keep your sword safe and protected from the elements when not in use.
