This Decorative Medieval Dagger is fashioned after the claymores of the late dark ages and early renaissance. The Claymore was the greatest sword of the period, wielded by only the most powerful knights. This claymore dagger is the spitting image of the claymore sword. This short Medieval Renaissance Claymore Dagger offers a smooth mirror polish 440 stainless steel dagger blade with false edge which is attached to the well decorated handle. The guard follows that of a claymore sword guard design with forward sloping quillions with quatrefoil. The hilt sports the lion rampant on each side while the middle offers a crisscross design followed by the well-designed pommel. The pommel design features pineapple on both sides representing hospitality. The ABS scabbard features a detailed locket and chape. The end of the chape sports a quatrefoil. This well detailed dagger is a must have for Medieval enthusiasts.
