This dagger is replicated to look like a Scottish Claymore. It is constructed of stainless steel with false edges and brushed antiqued zinc aluminum accents. Throughout the piece you will see spiral that represent perpetual movement, either (or both) outward or inward, unfolding or receding, growing or dying. This dagger has a cross guard that sloped downward, or towards the blade, with four-lobed shapes known as quatrefoils at the ends. In the center of the guard and handle is a Rampant Lion which is on the Royal Standard of Scotland. Basket weave patterns adorn the sheath and handle giving this piece a traditional medieval design. At the top of this dagger, a Scottish thistle adorns the pommel which is the national emblem of Scotland. The thistle proved its worth during the reign of Alexander III when advancing Norsemen came upon them shrieking out in pain alerting the clansman of invaders. The sheath is made of an ABS material with accents matching the hilt. This piece will look great displayed on your wall.
